Help Please Help

Hi, and sorry, I have no idea what's wrong (bad way to start...i know)! But I was playing cs 1.6 wc3 mod, at least i was able to a couple days ago, but all of a sudden I can't log on any more. I tried connecting to a wc3 server and it wouldn't connect. It would stop at verifying resources and that's end of story. I'm devastated right now. Very sad please help!!!

I thought I posted in the wrong section

but I did find someone who helped me fix it. What I did was went to steam apps and under my name was cstrike, I just deleted the entire file. After, I tried to connect to a wc3 mod server and it worked! Thanks for trying to help!
