Warcraft 3 MODs

Anywhere I can download wc3 mod from the 2.5.x series. I see from 2.6.0 onwards does not support CS 1.5. I have a cs 1.5 server just wanting the latest amxx version which supports 1.5.

First of all:
1.What wc3 mod?
2.U can`t find amxx around here (or i think u can`t)

1) He wants WC3 XP. Hence he posted in the WC3 XP forum and used WC3 XP version numbers.
2) I have no idea how well the latest copies of AMXX run on CS 1.5 ... I believe BAIL no longer "officially" supports CS1.5..

3) You're quite right, we seem to have lost our download thread for WC3XP 2.5 ... I will try to find a copy for you and put it up.

Ether try look in the forums of www.amxmodx.org some probaly have the amxx for cs1.5

I am running the latest version of amx mod x 1.71, works fine. Just after WC3XP from the 2.5.x series as the thread title suggests .

Have you tried 2.6? It may actually work. I have no clue. I never tested it, is all. The big thing was STEAMID vs WON.

Ok I will trial 2.6.0, if its not happening then I will come back. I just assumed it wouldnt work judging by what the changelog stated:

2.6.0

AMX is NOT supported. You must use AMXX 1.0 or newer.

CS 1.5 and WON are NOT supported. You must use STEAM/CS 1.6

That was meant to convey that I took no special efforts to MAKE SURE that it would work. Basicly meaning, if it didn't, don't bother me. If it does though, that's dandy.

I'm bored however, so I may go back and look at the differences tonight and tell you what you would have to do to change STEAMIDS back to WONIDs.

i think to get the whole thing 1.5 compatile you need to comment out the famas galil an shield things and do some edits to some of the amxmodx includes then compiling and so should work

Yeah. Those are some of the things that would misbehave. Weaponid #s and such changed in 1.6
