XP Statistics...

Post by g00n » Thu Nov 16, 2006 1:52 pm

I get the same error as in the "demo" from "releases" thread.
I run Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne 2.3.2.
(yes, now I am trying FT instead, like to find which is most fun. and thanks for helping with my problem on WC3X :D )

Right :D

I have installed the xp statistic, and when i try look at it, it looks just like the demo of it ( http://war3ft.com/stats/xp/ ), meaning "can't connect user has no access" etc etc.

It should not be the sql config, because the xp is saved fine with sql, only the statistics is not working. which is a shame, i know my players would love it.

So, if it can't connect, and I do use the same settings as i do in wc3ft.cfg, what could the problem be?

The user that is trying to connect to the SQL database does not have permission to access it or the IP of the webserver doesn't have permission to access the SQL database (doesn't effect if it is localhost)

but that is why i can't understand what is wrong... I use amxbans on same site with same configuration and it is working perfectly.... the user (xpstats) does have access to the mysql (using same configuration as amxbans and wc3ft), as well as my webserver - Since amxbans is running.

MySQL is still 4.something, is that whats causing this?

Is there a way to get hold of xpstats 1.0?

vhost7.clanservers.com doesn't have access to the database...

That would be my guess... although it looks like they're coming from the same server...

Is it the same username/password for both?

Ok, problem solved... I put in the IP instead of "Localhost", since thats what i did in the other configurations...

I have a minor problem tho, one guy's race is shown twice on the list, with slightly different XP. Place 3 and 4, if you or someone can bother to look it up, and tell what has happened.

Doean't matetr much, tho, am happy it's working :)
