RC:3.0 Server Crashing :\

The server is crashing every 30-60 mins as is the same problem as the post found (here viewtopic.php?t=2287&highlight=server+crashing )

but there were no answers given there, and i didnt know if i should add on to that post or make a new one, sorry if i shoulda added onto the other one.

heres a list of my plugins and such;

i did some plugin testing, well, am doing some plugin testing,

I shut all my plugins off, and am seeing if it crashes again; will update to see if the plugin's are the cause or not and if so its one of these

(my only 3rd party custom plugins)

Well; its not plugin related...

58 mins it took to crash, but it crashed again running no 3rd party plugins.

booted it up at 8:03 without the podbots files and its 9:55 now and no crash, ima get to bed soon; but ill post back tomrrow.

4:18 pm, Server down: PLugin-in's enabled, PodBots Not.

Shutting off all plug'ins well im at work, see if its stays up.

Updates around 11ish central.

Error Log given for crash:

I need you to run amxx in binary logging mode if you can - then post the last log file when it crashes...

Only way for me to determine what the problem is :/

i hope im doing this right; winging the install of the binary (guess i allready had half the files on my server: but added the rest all into the same file.. hope i was supposed to)

did you change what file metamod points to? You have to change it to the amxx binary logging binary...

like

amxmodx_bl_mm instead of amxmodx_mm

But im lost as heck, and i dont see the log file in data\binlogs... there wasnt even a folder for that.. also it says something aobut putting binlogreader.exe in the plugins folder?

Sorry this didnt work, i just need a bit of guidence, tryin but not workin i gues :\

so with podbots it crashes every hour, but i do not understand how to get this bin logging to work, i am trying to search for a installtion walk threw to make sure i did all that right, but so far have turned up empty handed, and acording to "notes.txt" it should be in amxmodx/addons/data/binlogging/ but there is no such file in data, and i have no idea if im even running the bin logging right;

Within metamod theres a file called plugins'ini i turned it so its running the files you said insted of the nonbinlogging file.

So is the rest auto and im just missing something? or am i doing something wrong?

To note; i just looked and my server did NOT have cvar.inl within the scripting folder.

When attempting to compile the cvar.inl into my server i got this warning...

"Warning, warcraft3/constants.inl<698> : warning 213 : tag mismatch"

You are missing this file "addons/amxmodx/configs/war3ft/war3ft.cfg"

No im not.

it hasnt crashed at all sinse i uploaded Cvar.inl into my server, i also changed a line within cvar.inl

notice the space in between public and CVAR.. not sure if it was supposed to be that way, but the _ in front did not seem like it, so i changed it and will post back if it crashes again, i do belive i have the bin logging working now, but im probably wrong.

Are you sure it exists as "war3FT.cfg" and not "war3ft.cfg"

All you did was just error the function name. Now it is calling a function named "public_CVAR_ExecuteConfig" instead of defining the function "_CVAR_ExecuteConfig". You have something wrong on your side, because I run a 3.0RC3 Linux on and it doesn't crash, although it isn't very popular either.

war3FT.cfg --- Copyed and pasted strait from the file within addons\war3ft\

Maybe its a problem within windows vesrion of amxx, i havent changed anything(expect cvar.inl) for anything to be wrong.

at that, without podbots it takes hours to crash... about 7-10 from what i can tell, but with them, it takes 30-60 mins.

for 3.0 the config file is supposed to be in a folder called "war3ft" which is located withing your "configs" folder.

You are using 1.76b right? Then it shouldn't be a problem if you have everything set up correctly.

which i do, which is why i dont understand whats going on...

But bin logging IS working, so i turned POD back on and am awaiting crash,

(my god Bin logging makes the server lag like crazy!)

it didnt crash in 26 + hours... the server was laggin to much, i had to shut bin logging off before i lost everyone, Sorry Gessu, its not seeming to crash anymore : \ dunno what changed...
