Thank you for your response YamiKaitou but I did do all the reading up about it and I still can't find the open bug report you mention in your reply. all the errors i could find in the known problems section were quite old posts to which rightly or wrongly i assumed were related to an earlier version of the wc3ft mod or to amxx 1.76 and therefore with this update and the latest version of the mod the issue would have been somewhat closer to a resolution.
I have now exhausted every option and find it impossible to run this mod on our server at all. If i get the mod to run initially as soon as a new player joins i get the same problem again and the error log fills up at an alarming rate, left to it's own devices it would be so large it would take a month to delete. If this is a known bug can you point me in the direction of the posts which update us mere mortals with the progress.
It is a shame i can't get this mod to run as I like it a lot and there must be some way of getting it to work as i play on some servers running it, but for me it's a non starter.
Thanks again for the lack of constuctive and some what hostile "help" in getting to the bottom of the problem I hope you eventually get it sorted as I really would like to run the mod. I'll check back periodically to see if there is a working version, speak to you sometime in 2009.

Thanks I read that & I will keep checking back but as my installation behaves similarly and works fine after map change it just goes square again as soon as a new player joins wish I could remember the commands to get the meta mod version and the rest of the info you asked for, it may throw some light on my problem. Thanks again.

ps the wc3ft servers i play on are all rc8 possibly running amxx 1.76 so there may be a clue there. thinking of trying a different wc mod any recomendations? used to play an old version when the rV clan had servers don't know what it was but there were no blood mage, wardens, crypt lords, or cameleon in that version.
