help me please

do i need a ftp server to set up an wc3 server? when i start my server (by clicking the hlds icon ) i can start the server but i cant connect to it and its not my ip adress that is wrote in the "server ip adress" field .. ..

You can not run both the dedicated server and the client from the same machine.
