War3FT Connection Problem

I would like to start this out by saying that I am not an owner of a WC3FT server. I play CS 1.6 and enjoy playing on servers with the WC3FT mod. I had a previous problem with Steam, so I redownloaded it and CS 1.6. After redownloading, I am unable to connect to any WC3FT server, and it gives me this error: "Fatal error: Hunk_Alloc: bad size: - 16376".
Any help in identifying my problem would be much appreciated.

reainstall steam

or delete everthing in your sprites/maps/sounds folders...
