hlds crash

Ok so Im using WinXP pro SP2. I download # amxmod x 1.6x (7.53 MB) v2.2.9 cstrike/czero I copy those file to cstrike folder. AND THATS ALL! Then I start my cs 1.6 server. When I or someone else is trying to connect to my server, hlds.exe crashes. What's wrong?

Try following the install guide? Copying/pasting isn't all you do

I mean that I don't install any other mods or somethin. I JUST follow the guide. The problem is somewhere in warcraft3FT.amxx, cos' when I delete that line in plugins.ini, hlds isn't crashing.

could you post a copy of your meta list, amx_plugins and amx_modules, please (with warcraft3ft.amxx enabled in plugins.ini)

OK I'm going to try to duplicate this... Can you zip up your addons folder and post it here?

Also, are you using the command line hlds tool or are you using the server through the steam interface?

This is no steam server (nowon). :oops:
Addons folder I just copied from the zip which I have downloaded from war3ft.com (Preconfigured Installation Files - # amxmod x 1.6x (7.53 MB) v2.2.9 cstrike/czero 11/25/2005)

Thats how I start the server.

what do you mean its not a steam server? It can't be a 1.5 server...

How did you install it ? using hldsupdatetool.exe?

It's a 1.6 server.
No, I didn't use hldsupdatetool.exe, I just downloaded the non steam version of cs 1.6 and a patch 18b for it.

Non-Steam is an illegal program. I assume the mod is not supported for it.

Nah he just means a lan server.... I was unable to reproduce this so I'm unsure what to tell you...

Have you ran the latest windows updates? Also try reinstalling hlds, perhaps you have some corrupted files?

Yes.
Also I tried installing this mod on the other computer. There was the same problem.
But all other war3 mods are working fine

Is there any chance you could get me remote access to either of these? Either by using VNC or XP Pro's built-in remote desktop connect ?
