i had an equal problem with squlite on rc5 (lags, changerace not showing up - debug mode was "on") and to solve that i switched back to NVault and everything was fine again...
looked like it still saved the XP to the NVault-files but im not sure...

debug mode is off for war3ft.amxx

i even lost xp because selecting the race does not automaticly bring you the xp and somethin gives you xp, the new xp replaces the old xp, (new xp is less than the old xp)
