Hi all i run server lietarally myself alot, as my systems are linux FC5 unmanaged, i do it all through putty and place the addons and changes through FTP.

As i have wanted to set up a WC3FT for my own clan, it is proving difficult, the easy part is putting the addons in place with the lib list and all is great, turn the server on, stick it on a screen, adn monitor it, after about 10 mins into it, 12 people on it, it closes itself down, due to a
//// (core dumped) $HL_CMD \\\\ and tells me to contact linux, lol,

there are no shrike or sturm bots on it so it isnt that,
last time i got any message to do with this was messing up sturmbots and not putting in the correct meta, either way LOL the memory is fine, SO any help is needed and, i am sure that someone else has had this, i cant just be me, am not that noobish.

give us help on this guys. its greatly appreciated. i need that WC3FT, i need i need i need.

Are you sure that this is being caused by WC3FT?

am fairly familiar with Linux and setup of dod servers, and setting up amx and Meta.

i currently have 7 setup on dod that dont have any probs at all, with amx or meta that i have set up.

as i put this WC3FT in place, with amx and meta that comes with it, ten mins later that is what happens, it has somethin to do with WC3FT, or the ongoings of it, am not sure though its wierd.

when its up it works like a dream, but it just displays that message estimated 10 mins into play from putty and restarts it.

i think an object or somethin is not loading, but i kno wnothing.

AMX Mod X version? Warcraft3 FT version? Metamod version? Latest does NOT help at all

bah, such a pest am i, maybe alower mta might be better, maybe bah.

if you guys want me to leave the server on for testing to witness what it does then just ask, i can stick it on. sack it its up

seems to have done fine, with no one on LOL, but when there is about 10 people for like 10 mins, then that is the error that comes up.

also just looking here, with the package of WC3 this /// M v1.19p28 \\\ meta mod is on instead of just a normal MetaMod v1.19, does it make a difference, because i know that MetaMod v1.19 this version works fine with bots and everythin else, but i havnt tested it with this metamod, again only seeking advice at this point before modifying WC3 packs you guys do.

You can try a different Metamod version if you want. Also, please give us the full wc3ft version, including the RC release number.

FYI, the latest as of July is RC8

as i havealreadytriedtwo my self and my friend has also put one in i will trythis RC8 on today on saturday and see whetherthe same thing happens. what i will also do is if it does fail to try it wth a different metamod

i already tried teh RC8 and i tried a differentmani mod and it withstood alot morethan the one on thsi websites recomended one.

today am gonna be sticki8ng it on oraneg and justgetting lots on to try it with differnt mani admin on it.

Um, you are running CS1.6, CZ, or DoD right? Cause, if you are, Mani mod won't work for it. But, if you are running Source, wc3ft will not run on it
