These races are mostly from a custom warcraft game called DOTA Allstars. Using the ability function with other possibly added ability functions (ability2 and ability3) I have taken heros from DOTA and recreated them here.
Stealth Assassin:
Permanant invisibility: (skill) [required levels: 1 = hero level 5/2 = hero level 7/3 = hero level 9]
You are 80/90/95% invisible untill you attack or use death ward/blink, you become visible for 5/3/2 seconds then return invisible. You may only use knife when you have this skill.
Critical Strike: (skill)
You have a 5%/10%/15% chance to deal 1.5% more damage.
Blink: (ability)
You teleport to where your crosshair is, can only be used once per round. You are blinded for 3/2/1 seconds.
Death Ward: (ultimate)
You plant a ward on the ground, when your opponent steps on it, they and all other nearby opponents take 15 damage per second for 3 seconds and are stunned for 3 seconds.
Anti-mage:
Blink: (ability)
You teleport to where your crosshair is, can only be used once per round. You are blinded for 3/2/1 seconds.
Mana Burn: (skill)
When you attack your opponent you get rid of 10/20/30 armour per hit.
Magic Immunity: (skill)
You take 30/50/70% less damage from ultimates and enhanced grenades (orc nades).
Mana Corruption: (ultimate)
You oppoenet takes damage 1 damage for every 3 points of armour your opponent does not have.
Bounty Hunter:
Shuriken: (skill)
When you attack your opponent you have a 20%/40%/60% chance of throwing a blade at your opponent for 5/10/15 extra damage.
Combat Mastery: (skill)
You have a 10/15/20% chance to deal 1.5% more damage and you have a 10/15/20% chance to evade all attacks.
Wind Walk: (ability)
You weapon is switched to a knife, your movement speed is increased by 100%, you become 90% invisible, and when you attack a unit it does 10/20/30 more damage. Last 10/15/25 seconds and can only be used once per round.
Track: (ultimate)
When you kill any opponent you gain 20 health, 10 armour, 10 bullets to pistol, 20 bullets to primary gun, and an extra $1000.
Brew Master:
Fire Spray: (ability)
You shoot a short ranged flame at your opponent dealing 10/15/20 damage to all who are in the flame's path. Can only be used once per round.
Drunken Haze: (skill)
You opponent has an additional 2/5/10% chance to miss on attacks when you have drunken brawler,your fire spray burns your opponent 5 damage every 10/5/2 seconds for 10 seconds, and your Earth,Lightning, and Fire's damage taken is increased by 3.
Drunken Brawler: (skill)
Your opponent has a 5/10/20% to miss on his attack and you have a 5/10/20% to deal double damage.
Earth,Lightning, and Fire: (ultimate)
You attacks do an additional 10 damage, all enemies close to you takes 2 damage per second, and your movement speed is increased by 50. Lasts 10 seconds.
Pudge 7.0:
Meat Hook: (ability)
The targeted opponent is reeled in to you and takes 10/20/25 damage and is stunned for 1 second. Can only be used once per round.
Decompose: (skill)
All players on the map take 1/2/3 damage per 3 seconds.
Flesh Heap: (skill)
You take 10/15/20% less damage from ultimates/abilities (including decompose) and enhanced nades (orc nades) and when you kill any enemy you gain 10 hp and 10 armour back.
Cannibalize: (ultimate)
All nearby opponents and you can not move or attack, your opponents take 15 damage per second for 3 seconds and you gain 10 hp per second for every opponent caught.
Sven:
Storm Bolt: (ability)
Your targeted opponent takes 10/20/30 damage and is stunned for 1/2/3 seconds.
Great Cleave: (skill)
When you attack an opponent, all surrounding opponents take 10/15/20 damage.
Devotion Aura: (skill)
You health is increased by 15/30/45.
God Strength: (ultimate)
You attacks do plus 20 damage for 5 seconds.
Zues:
Arc Lightning: (ability)
Your target opponent and all nearby opponents take damage staring with targeted then hopping to the nearest and then the next nearest that it has not hit and so on. 1st hit does 20/25/30 damage 2nd hit does 5 less damage 3rd hit does 5 less damage and so on. Can only be used once per round.
Lightning Bolt: (skill)
You have a 20/30/40% chance of summoning lightning to strike your enemy for 20 damage.
Static Field: (skill)
All nearby opponents lose 5/10/15 hp every 3 seconds.
Wrath: (ultimate)
All opponents on the map take 30 damage.
Skeleton King:
Storm Bolt: (ability)
Your targeted opponent takes 10/20/30 damage and is stunned for 1/2/3 seconds. Can only be used once per round
Vampiric Aura: (skill)
The damage you do to an opponent it converted in to 10%/20%/30% of your own hp.
Critical Strike - (skill)
You have a 10%/20%/30% chance to do double damage.
Reincarnation: (ultimate)
You come back to life with 75% of your starting health and 30% of your maximum armour and ammo.
Naix:
Poison Sting: (skill)
All your attacks deal 1/2/3 poison damage to your opponent for 3 seconds and slow their movement speed by 20/30/40%.
Vampiric Aura: (skill)
The damage you do to an opponent it converted in to 10%/20%/30% of your own hp.
Anabolic Frenzy: (skill)
Your movement speed is increased by 10%/20%/30% and your attacks do an additional 3/5/7 damage.
Rampage: (ultimate)
Your attacks do 5 extra damage and your become spell and ultimate immune for 10 seconds.
Techies
Suicide Squad: (ability2)
All opponents around you take 40/60/80 damage and you die. Can only be used once per round.
Statis Trap: (ability3)
You lay a mine, when an opponent steps near it they are stunned for 1/2/3 seconds. Can only be used once per round.
Land Mine: (ability)
You lay 1/2/3 mines, when an opponent comes near it they take 10/20/30 damage.
Remote Mine: (ultimate)
You lay a mine when you press the ultimate button, when you press it again it blows up dealing 50 damage to all nearby opponents.
Crystal Maiden:
Frost Nova: (ability)
The send a blast of ice at your opponent dealing 10/20/30 damage to the target opponent and hitting all nearby opponents for 5/10/15 damage and slowing thier movement speed by 10/30/50%. Can only be used once per round.
Brillance Aura: (skill)
Your armour regenerates 5/10/15 armour per second.
Frost: (ability2)
Your opponent takes 3/6/9 damage per second for 1/2/3 seconds and cannot move for 1/2/3 seconds. Can only be used once per round.
Ice Field: (ultimate)
All nearby opponents take 25 damage per second for 2 seconds and cannot move for 2 seconds.
Bradwarden:
Double Edge: Ability
You deal 20/30/40 damage to your opponent and receive 20/30/40. Can only be used 1 per round.
Hoof Stomp: Ability
You deal 10/20/30 damage to all opponent's around them and they can't move or shoot for 0.5/1/1.5 seconds.
Return: Skill
10/17/25% damage dealt to you is dealt to your opponent.
Strength Boost: Ultimate
Your HP is increased by 50 and your attacks deal +5 damage passively.
Visage:
Grave Chill: Ability
Target loses 30/40/50% movement speed and you gain 30/40/50% of thier movement speed. Can only be used 1/2/3 time(s) per round.
Anonymous Dead: Skill
All of your team and you share 15/20/25% of the damage dealt to you and your team by your opponents.
Soul Assumption: Skill
Whenever you kill someone you gain 10/20/30 hp. All your weapons deal 5/10/15 extra damage.
Raise Revenants: Ultimate
Revive a Dead teammate at 40% of thier max hp, 50% of thier armour, and full ammo and the weapons that were used last.
Morphling:
Morph: Skill
Once every 4/3/2 seconds, you lose 3/4/5 armour and gain 3/4/5 hp past your max hp. Your hp may not increase more than 50 past your max hp.
Tidal Wave: Skill
You have a 25% chance upon shooting of sending a crushing wave at your opponent and nearby opponents, dealing 10/15/20 damage and bringing your next to your opponent.
Morph Attack: Ability
You deal 10/15/20 damage to your targeted opponent, this can only be used 1/2/3 times a round.
Adapt: Ultimate
When activated one of the following occurs; If your hp is lower than your ap, you heal full health. If your ap is lower than your hp, you gain full ap. If both ap and hp are equal you gain full hp and ap. If your ammo in your primary gun's ammo is lower than both your hp and ap , you gain full ammo in all guns.
Blood Seeker:
Blood Rage: Ability
You lose 1/2/3 hp and armour per second, your weapons deal an additional 15/25/35 extra damage, lasts 5 seconds.
Blood Bath: Skill
When you kill someone you gain 10/20/30 hp, when you knife someone you gain an additional 5/10/15 hp.
Blood Crave: Ability2
Whenever any opponent is less than 50% hp, you see them on the radar in red and you gain 11/22/33% movement speed bonus for 25 seconds.
Rupture: Ultimate
Target opponent receives 25 damage and an additional 5 damage for every step taken by the targeted opponent, lasts 5 seconds.
Ursa Warrior:
Earthshake: Ability
All nearby opponent's movement speed is slowed by 30/40/50% and they take 20/30/40 damage, lasts 3 seconds. May only be used once per round.
Slash: Skill
Every attack you deal to your opponent does an additional 3/6/9 damage. (1st attack +9 damage, 2nd +18, 3rd +27, 4th, +35). When using knife it does 5/10/15 additional damage instead of 3/6/9.
Enrage: Ability2
You move 50/75/100% faster and all your weapons deal 5/10/15 extra damage, lasts 5 seconds and can only be used 1/2/3 times per round.
Fury Swipes: Ultimate
You lose 5 armour per second, all your attacks deal 30 extra damage for 5 seconds or untill you have no armour.
Pugna:
Nether Ward: Ability
You place a ward on the ground, if an ability/ultimate of an opponent is used by the ward, it deals 5/15/25 damage to them. May place 1/2/3 per round.
Nether Blast: Skill
You have a 25% chance to deal 10/20/30 damage to a targeted opponent and 5/10/15 damage to all nearby opponents. You may attack banished players as if they were not banished.
Banish: Ability2
Target opponent becomes slowed by 75% and all abilities and ultimates that effect them do 10/20/30% more damage. Banished target may only be hit by abilities and ultimates, glows green, and does not deal an damage with guns or knife. Lasts 1.5/2.25/3 seconds.
Life Drain: Ultimate
Target opponent loses 20 life per second and you gain 20 life per second, lasts 3 seconds. You may not shoot or move while this is in effect.
Lion:
Impale: skill
5/10/15% chance to distort the enemy.
Mana Drain: ability
Target opponent's ultimate cooldown is increased by 10/17/25 seconds.
Hex: skill
You have a 5/10/15% chance to turn your opponent into a goomba making them jump once every 3 seconds.
Finger of Death: Ultimate
You bring your opponent to 10 hp and 10 ap. Has a +30 second cooldown.

I have ideas for other warcraft heros from the melee version of frozen throne.
Paladin:
Devotion Aura: (skill)
Your hp is increased by 15/30/45
Divine Sheild: (ability2)
Your opponents attacks, ultimates, and spells do no damage for 2 seconds. Can only be used once per round.
Holy Light: (ability)
You Heal any living ally for 10/25/50 or damage any undead enemy for 20/30/40 damage. Can only be used once per round.
Resurrection: (ultimate)
You bring all dead allies back to life with 25% hp, 25% armour, and 10% ammo. Everytime this ultimate is used, the ammount of total life and total armour is decreased by 5% but it can not be lower than 5%.
Blademaster:
Mirror Image - (skill)
At the start of each round, you have 1/2/3 images of a t/ct that follow you around but do not attack.
Critical Strike - (skill)
You have a 10/20/30% chance to do double damage.
Wind Walk - (ability)
You weapon is switched to a knife, your movement speed is increased by 150%, you become 95% more invisible, and when you attack a unit it does 10/15/20 more damage. Last 10/15/25 seconds and can only be used once per round.
Blade Spin - (ultimate)
All nearby opponents take 25 damage per second for 3 seconds.
Tauren Chieften:
Command Aura: (skill)
All nearby team members and you get bonus damage of 3/5/7. (stacks with claws)
War Stomp: (ability)
All nearby enemies are stunned for 1/2/3 seconds and take 10/15/25 damage. Can only be used once per round.
Shockwave: (skill)
When you attack your opponent, you have a 10%/15%/20% of dealing 10/20/25 damage to all enemies in front of you in a straight line.
Reincarnation: (ultimate)
You come back to life with 75% of your starting health and 30% of your maximum armour and ammo.
Dark Ranger:
Black Arrow - (skill)
When you attack your opponent, his/her damage is reduced by 2/5/10%.
Silence - (skill)
Everytime you attack your opponent, you have a 5/10/20% chance of disabling all their skills (even ultimate) for 10 seconds.
Life Drain - (ability)
Targeted opponent loses 20/25/30 hp you gain 20/25/30 hp. Can only be used once per round.
Charm - (ultimate)
Your opponent can not damage your team and your team can not damage your opponent, but he/she can attack his/her team, lasts for 10 seconds

I would love to see those DOTA heros put into their own wc mod Called Warcraft 3 DOTA. And If there were shopmenus with an upgrade menu that upgrades items like in DOTA and you do not lose the items when you die (except for divine rapier which drops on death and could be givin to the killer). Image all the possibilities that mod could have instead of 9 heros and 2 18 items. I would love to see maelstrom or guinsoo's sycthe in there. There could also be item ability binds that you have to make.
If only this were a mod..
Btw if you are interested in the mod idea or just want to talk we should get together and play DOTA, nothing like a conversation with a god-like streak to set the mood.
