Warcraft 3 MODs

Ich have installed Wc3 rc5 but now the new Verion rc6 is out.

What do i have to change?
Is the Xp saved?

Basiccally just reinstall the plugin. If you are saving xp with SqLite or MySql then your xp will be saved. From what i know there is no more nvault in rc6 so if you are using nvault then most likely your xp will need to be reset.

Yes, if you are using nVault, you will not have access to that xp. But, if you have a large nVault, send it to me so I can use it to test something and maybe I can get a plugin designed to take nVault xp and transfer it to MySQL or SQLite.

But i dont have access to the SQL Base.

Is there a possibility to save it without access?

SQLite is similar to nVault, but it contains the benifits of MySQL. All it does is save it to an encrypted file on your server

And where?

It will save the file to your <mod folder>/addons/amxmodx/data/sqlite3/ folder. There is no way that I know of for you to visibly see the contents of SQLite files as they are encrypted or in binary.


And, RC6 is set to save to SQLite by default

In die Data folder are only:

csstats.amxx
dodstats.amxx
GeoIP.dat
lang
vault
WinCDX.exe
dodstats.dat
vault.ini

Once you have told it to save to SQLite, it will create the folder and the files.

Q related to updating : I'm kinda short on time, do i have to update all files or just the amxx stuff ? (plugins folder)

You should only have to update the amxx file and maybe the cfg file. But the amxx file should be the only thing that has changed
