Warcraft 3 MODs

does the newer version automatically convert the mysql table layout to the newer layout?
im currently with the war3users table version.

ok ill check it tomorrow,
altho i did try it with RC7.0 before and that one just created new tables and i believe pp then said about RC8.0 converts xp from structure from RC7.0 to RC8.0.
So tomorrow ill find out if it converts from the old war3users table structure as well

nope still the same thing, it does not convert the xp

delete the wc3_config table then restart the server

i updated,
restarted
deleted the table you suggested
restarted : the table got back created

0 xp , no data converted

did it another 4 times with waiting minutes between them and checking in the server : no convert

can you post a dump of your database?

you mean like a backup thats zipped?

Try with this version first.
Tried it on my test-server and it converts my old data to the new structure.
After that u should be able to update to RC8

omg you are my new hero!!!

i tried it before when the first RC7.0 came out but it didnt convert then.
Now it went fine!!! (altho i still need to test it fully but it looked OK)

thx a bunch , now i dont feel 'outdated'

on a sidenote, could it be the last updated xp stats isnt working with this structure?

I noticed the same problem.
The RC7B1 converts the data to the new db but only new players are tracked to the stats system.
