forum spam?

Just thought I should bring this to someones attention as it's not cool for ppl to be using legitimate forums for spam/advertising etc...

I got an e-mail today saying I had gotten a new private message about forum administration:

on "Warcraft 3 MODs" with the following subject:

Forum administration

I then opened my message and this is what I get:




That link in there sending me to http ://megl.ru/

I thought I should post something calling attention to this because to the unwary it does look like something that should be clicked on. I mean it's about "Forum Administration" and then it's "Important to read!" Pretty clear what's goin on here, but I thought ppl should be made aware of that this is going on here so no one gets caught with a virus or spyware or whatever they're loading from there.

PS put the space after the 'http' so no one would go there by accident lol

I'm inactive for years here now, but I thought it might be worth it to let you guys know there are spambots
