War3x: Revived?!?

Hey, this is Ryan, Lead developer of what is now the broken and unstable War3x mod.

I thought the mod was lost for good with all of it's crashes, and was unmotivated (over a year ago!) to make attempts at fixing all of it's stability issues, however, I have been speaking with Geesu lately and it seems he and Freecode have devised some fixes for the consistant crashes that have plagued the most recent official nightly build releases.

This intrigued me.. enough to make the decision to continue development on the Official version of War3x (along with additional developers that wish to help). I will be posting some feature, balance and skill/item changes shortly in the War3x forums of this site, so stay tuned!

Welcome back Ryan. I was really discouraged when you quit the developing of War3x after sharing all those ideas about the backpack idea and all those other ideas.

Very very cool that you decide to come back!

I still have a copy sittin around on me pc somewere with the future plans for wc3x you thought up a year ago. Are you still wanting to go that way?

Im really pleased to hear this, and like to support where ever we can (Cant code, but i do can supply public test servers and a testing team to hunt down all ingame bugs they can find).

Cheers,

Ryan lives! Good you have you back - we can't wait to try out War3x again.

Any possibility of adding SQLite support down the road?

I actually already started adding SQL Lite support, but don't expect it for the 1.0 release
