vault.ini

Post by ]EcK. L3g4cY » Tue Nov 08, 2005 7:02 am

I can't seem to figure out my problem. when i try saving to my "MySql" db you can't changeraces in game. i looked here found out how to get around that, disable sv_mysql. ok now my xp doesn't save. i WANT to use vault for now because i can't install sqlite. (i'm coding retarded). can some one just tell me if vault.ini will create itself or if i have to create a file named that and where to put it. i looked at just about every support document with the word vault in it and i can't find what i'm looking for. i'm running the newest version of amxx and war3ft. also i have CSDM running idk if that would affect it or not.

The vault is self-sustaining... Eventually you will notice lag (probably a year from now since it's like a 12 player server)

so all i have to do is set mp_savexp 1 and it will save in vault. hmmmm that is done but when i change maps i still lose xp. it isn't set to short term either because level 10 is 51200 xp. i'll have to make akeio get back in there and fix it because its pissing me off.

ok I bet I know what it is... It's probably the same problem w/amxx not being able to write the the logs...

Check with your provider about write permissions... akeio told me the host provider said it was correct, but I have a feeling they're not, I don't know what else would cause this.
