Settings in Config file ignored

hey there, i have some odd problem with the wc3FT.cfg file..

the settings i have set for xp to be given out seem to be ignored by the plugin.

i have most of the events like plant bomb, defuse bomb, recue hostages, etc set to give out 10 xp. but it looks like they are overridden with the plugin defaults, for example headshots should give no xp as set in the config file - but the plugin gives 2 xp (as default setting)

the settings for the mysql database, where xp should be stored in are working fine - xp is correctly assigned and reassigned after reconnect from our mysql database.

could someone help me please, i can not figure out what i am doing wrong

the machine is counterstrike 1.6, hosted by nuclearfallout - but i can't get the machine specs, i only know its running win32

i am wondering why there is a module and a plugin for this mod, might this be the cause? that only one of them may be enabled?

k you better give us war3ft.cfg and it is better to no run the modules

there is a reason for this, XP is calculated weird (but good

)

basically xp you earn is:

xpbasedonyourlevel + bonusxpthatisintheconfigfile

So it's just doing + 0, but you still get that xpbasedonyourlevel

Only way I know of for plugins you don't have source code for. What you should do is really think how many times you use a particular feature of one of your plugins, if it's not that often or if a feature isn't that important just dump the plugin, the server will appreciate it. After doing that with all your plugins, start unloading your modules untill you get a plugin that doesn't work, restore the module and continue to the next one.

Keeping the server less loaded gives you much more benefit than having a slow heavy-loaded-with-features-that-nobody-uses one.

WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH THERE.

You need to change your MySQL password immediately. You posted your war3ft.cfg file without editing out your MySQL login information. I have removed it now.

I highly suggest you get the password changed as soon as possible. No one here is probably mean and would abuse it, but Google could have already cached the thread and someone COULD get it.

well, i have done all that, the modules were removed (for some reason geoip was still running AFTER i removed it from modules.ini)

but i still get this odd behaviour

how is this possible? i mean, i did amxx cvars and it brings up the cvars exactly as i set them in the wc3ft.cfg, now how can i make them to be taken

you should mean i shouldnt be this difficult to get your settings working...
