question about mysql
want help pm me

Read the manual cause of mysql.
Rent a root-server (it's cheap).
Do NOT try to run a (listen, dedicated) server on your home pc.
U willl be run out of resources.
Trust me, i've tried this.
(or u have at least 10mbit AND much free of...)
Don't bother the developer, maybe they have some other things to do...

U have to determine this. Define: close...Avanderik wrote:If the mysql is on a different server, it wont work very efficiently unless the webhost is very close to you.
I don't believe.
As Developer it's up to YOU to optimize it.Avanderik wrote:it wont work very efficiently
What u wanna have? All of them have a sql on home pc?? Or what?
This is ur own decision.Avanderik wrote:I would use the sqlite version though.

close being ping > 60... or any lose packets in b/t servers even if on a lan... Server will lock up until the server receives a packet....
Up to YOU to optimize it? wtf does that mean?
No Support via PM
Never had problems like this, running mysql on LAN and on extern servers.Geesu wrote:close being ping > 60... or any lose packets in b/t servers even if on a lan... Server will lock up until the server receives a packet....
